Everything you need to know about becoming an Owner Operator
How much would I get paid?
Liquid Tanks pays 65% of the line haul and 100% of the Fuel Surcharge.
What types of products would I haul?
Mostly feed grade fats and oils, non-hazmat chemicals and fertilizers, and slurries.
What are the trailer specifics?
All trailers are less than 10 years old, 6,500 gallon, stainless steel, single barrel, rear unload, with a pump.
How many miles per week will I drive?
Owner Operators in this division average 2,500-3,000 miles per week.
How often would I be home?
Most Owner Operators choose to stay out 3-4 weeks at a time.
Do I need special certifications?
Tanker endorsement is required, no hazmat required. Special consideration given for owner operators who have Passports and TWIC cards.
